There are several ways to block advertising, but not all of them work. We've tested in several ways and we'll show you only those that really work. Let's check it out?
The Internet is full of advertising but is also full of new content. This is normal because the work of people who make content and dedicate their time is precious and paid for.
There are sites that "abuse" advertising, and it is against those that we rebel. Actually advertising when it's too much, it's sick.
Let's show you how you can block advertising on Android and iOS, so you can browse a cleaner Internet. Regarding Android, things do not always work if you have a custom ROM. That is why we leave several methods here.
For Android
Android is Google's operating system. It's free and open source so there are more alternatives and ways to work "against" the advertising ads. Here are the ways we have found to do this:
– Using Opera Browser: Opera has been present for several years in the desktop version as a browser that has been adapting to the evolution of the internet. On Android it has been present for several years and has many users. It does not take anything special to block advertising, just install and ... it's done. Download on Google Play or click here.
– Using Adblock for Android: AdBlock is a desktop extension where multiple browsers can run out of ads. But if you want to keep your browser and do not like Opera. Just install this app by searching for it on Google Play or click here.
– Block popups on Chrome: If your problem is just popups (and you want to see the rest of the ads) in Chrome you have the settings (press the three points above, then in the settings) one option to block popups.
– Enable Chrome save mode: In the same place as the previous option, you can also enable data saving, for pages to load faster without advertising. However, this method is not as effective as described above.
Some of these methods may also block advertising in apps outside the browser.
For iOS
IOS is the system that Apple puts on iPhones. It is a closed system with fewer alternatives. But there are still good chances of blocking advertising. Let's do it:
You can only block ads in Safari and for this you install a popup blocker like Crystal. Then you go to Safari and activate the extension, following the steps in this image:
